About a distant place

Previous Entry a distant place May. 24th, 2005 @ 02:15 am Next Entry
Next week I'm fying to Seattle to interview with Amazon. Wish me luck.

The job sounds fantastic and wonderful. Which means I won't get it because good things don't happen to me. But wish me luck, anyway.

If I get it, I'd be moving there, going away party details would follow in this space.

And, yah, that would be a pretty nasty tease for Belen and David, "hey, move next to silver. a week after he left".

Seattle is beautiful. I am going there for vaction in June.

Do you remember walbourn from the 11th floor? He lives there and works for the evil empire.

Who are you interviewing with at Amazon? What sort of position? I'm sure you'll do well. If the folks I've met who work for Amazon are typical, you should be a cinch to get it.

I'm applying for the intranet group with Craig Suter. I take it I should get your contact info (you have my email address. it hasn't changed in 10 years) and list you as a reference? :)

hrm. I hate anonymous, now I have to guess. "old friend" + "far away" is mostly likely STAxe going by pure "oldest" and "farthest" (unless Mr Mowery or Mr Trudell have moved further away than San Antonio, which I don't count as "far away"). hrm.
though it could be a less old friend from chat, in which case the possibilities are a little more endless and I'd need a clue.
